Mission Statement and Goals

 

Mission statement:

Shenandoah Valley Chorus strives to promote musical excellence through
education and training while supporting each other in friendship.

Goals:

1. Shenandoah Valley Chorus will provide its members with ongoing education in singing four-part harmony barbershop     style.
       A. Shenandoah Valley Chorus will see that training is provided for the director (and assistants).
       B. The director (and assistants) will share their expertise in barbershop style with chorus members.

2. Shenandoah Valley Chorus will strive to grow as a chorus both in number of singers and in quality of our barbershop     sound.

3. Shenandoah Valley Chorus will increase our visibility in the community, and thereby increase our number or yearly     performances.

4. Chorus members will work together to achieve musical excellence and to provide a friendly, supportive environment for all.
